R.I.P - Mike 'Dobby' Dobson

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our former Little League coach, Mike 'Dobby' Dobson, peacefully on Christmas morning.

Dobby coached our Little Leaguers (4th & 5th graders) for six seasons, developing the fundamental skills and foster a life-long love of the game for hundreds of excited and aspiring young footballers. He was a wonderful person to have around the club, he was positive and passionate about children having the opportunity to play football in a fun and learning environment.

Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Dobby's family, many of whom have links to playing and coaching at Waitemata FC.
