Holiday Program is back. Register now!

Waitemata Football Club popular Holiday Program is back and taking place at McLeod Park in Te Atatu South on Tuesday 11 to Thursday 13 April (week 1) and Tuesday 18th to Thursday 20th April (week 2), running each day from 9 am to 3 pm.

Designed for boys and girls aged between 6-14 y/o, the 3-day a week football Holiday Program is a great opportunity for players to brush up on their skills ahead of the upcoming season, as well as a chance to meet or make new friends from the club.

Players get the chance to take part in a variety of football-based games and activities, led by qualified junior coaches, all following the club-based football development learning curriculum. The program caters for players of all abilities, whether new to the game or a returning players and promises to be full of fun, learning and scoring goals!

Waitemata Football Club Director of Football (DOF) Dan Johnston, who designed and oversees the programme, encourages members to support the programme and register their young children today. “Not only do we see a noticeable improvement in the football skills of these young players, but we are also proud to see that these football programs help bring together our local communities. We live in a very diverse area of Auckland and our club recognises how important sport can be in community collaboration, teamwork and understanding.”

The cost of the Holiday Programme is just $40 per day or $100 for all 3-days and includes morning tea and lunch each day. You can register today by emailing DOF Dan Johnston at dof@waitematafc.org.nz
