Waitemata FC launch Buy/Sell/Swap page

Waitemata Football Club has launched an exciting new initiative aimed at recycling previously used training and playing gear as well as helping to reduce costs for our existing members.

On the newly established Facebook group, individuals can list old items such as boots, shin guards, shorts or shirts with a full description and photos, mutually agreeing on a price or swapping for a different style or size. This is perfect for those who are in need of a different size, or even for people who are looking to clear out their wardrobes ahead of a new season at the club.

Director of Football, Dan Johnston, is confident that this new platform will be widely used and will help ensure club gear in circulation remains in use and proudly worn by our players, coaches and supporters. “We want to be sustainably responsible across all aspects of our club and ensure all of our branded club training and playing apparel gets the maximum usage. This is an easy way to facilitate these exchanges through our football community and we look forward to seeing everyone wear their gear around the club in the 2023 season.
